New Earth Child describes more of what that soul may be bringing into life on Earth now.

A Spirit Baby can therefore BE BOTH.

For example, showing a strong connection with Sirius or the Pleiades while also communicating a New Earth role or way of being. And another soul may feel strongly connected with New Earth consciousness without naming any particular stellar origin at all.
